Erectile dysfunction medications seized in Glengormley

Large amounts of unlicensed medicines have been taken by Department of Health officials throughout a search of a home in Glengormley.
A male was talked to by department officers about unlawfully importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medicines by means of the internet.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medication offences.
He will now be the subject of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was carried out by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, stated: « It is important that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be harmful.
« These types of items being offered, typically online, have undergone no quality control and there can be no warranty about their .
« You merely do not know what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More notably, you do not understand the result drugs like this might have on your health. »
